Hi All,
Today, I got a new MP3 player for my birthday, and so have no more need
for my IPod Shuffle. It's in very good condition, and I have its box and all
its complementary stuff, except for the earbuds, which are crap anyway. I'll
even give you the cool necklace case that you have to pay extra money for,
it's better than the little necklace thing they send with it. The IPod still
has my music on it, but obviously that can be deleted, I just don't want to
do it. For those that don't know, it has no screen and is totally
accessible, listening-wise. The buttons are as easy as, if not easier than,
your basic DiskMan, I kid you not. It'll take you about two seconds to
figure it out, even without sighted help, if you fiddle long enough. You can
put music onto it either using ITunes (if you have the patience) or using a
program called AnaPod Explorer, which can be purchased for a one-time price
of 20 dollars from
www.redchairsoftware.org
, I believe is the URL. AnaPod turns the IPod into a drive on your computer,
and lets you drag and drop, or copy and paste," if you will, songs onto the
device. It has a USB hookup, and built-n batteries. I am asking 50 dollars
for the IPod and its case, which is less than half its regular price. If
you're interested or have any questions, please e-mail me at
caitlin@deraitland.com
. We can discuss shipping then.
Thanks a lot,
Caitlin
P.S. The price is somewhat negotiable, but I'm going no lower than 40!

shuffles sell for pretty cheap. so you wouldn't have to worry about paying much. yes. it's really easy to put music on the IPod. if you end up getting a shuffle, I can send you a link to some software to drop the music on an IPod easily

Liam, how much does your iPod shuffle cost? How much can they hold? Because I am going iPod shopping this weekend, and I either want to get a Nano or a Shuffle. What programs are used to drop music into the iPod, anyway?

Apple just announced a new line up of their Ipod products. The Shuffle (1gb) has been shrunk considerably to become the smallest music player on the market and costs $79 in the U.S. The Nano now comes in 8gb configuration (still flash based) and I think $300 or so, can't remember the prices, you can see them at www.apple.com. I've heard Anapod explorer is good but I didn't get it to work when I tried, oddly, but I didn't try hard because I got a Mach Trio mp3 player/recorder that I use to record stuff in class, very convenient. I do want the 8gb Nano though, it sounds awesome.

I just got a Nano for my birthday. I think it's okay. My dad set me up with iTunes, and I really hate it, because I heard that it doesn't work with JAWS. Oh yeah, and I got a 1 gig nano.

how much does a 1 gig nano hold. how many song is that. I have a 4 Gig nano holding 1000 songs.

A 1 gig Nano holds about 240 songs, if I'm correct.

Amazon sells IPods both used and new for cheap. I got a 30 gig IPod for Christmas. Parents allowed me to choose one but choose one where I can fit 90% of my entire music library on. So they ordered a 30 gig IPod only mine came with a cheap flimsey case, uncomfortable ear buds (i use those as miniture stereos.) USB adaptor and the instructon booklet. All of that came to $200. If you price around and take your time, you will find a IPod that you want for half the price you'd see in retail stores.

XPlay and Anapod are the only browsers I can think of. Be aware that you must have ITunes installed in order to use Anapod explorer.

I'm interested do you still have it?

hey
i got an ipod of of ebay for 25 dollars
it came with a case, ear buds, and a dock... and its a one gig shuffle second generation, so 40 dollars for a used ipod is good, but you probably could get one for half that price

That's a really good deal!!!!
